Luxury in Hotel Industry

We spoke in the prior blog about how the way a guest is ushered in to a hotel makes an added effort to the luxury appeal of a hotel. Stepping further from the lobby into the cosy rooms, a hotel makes a further statement, right from the luggage rack to the hotel mattress. The mattress in fact - a luxury travel bed as some call it, is certainly one of the focal points of a good hotel stay and must be reasonably firm and soft with premium cushioning and linens to caress the guest.
When all rested and fresh, even before a guest hits the hotel’s F&B spread, one of the first points of their contact is the hotel amenities they make use of. From switching on the kettle for a steaming cup of tea to an embalming bath with the plush hotel wet amenities at disposal. From the mirrors to the hair dryer, the steam iron to the cloth brush to the shoe shine, every amenity that helps the guest get groomed for enjoying the experience. These are spheres where no compromise should be made. Partnering with a good solution provider for your in-room items will help you get the most appropriate array of OS&E and FF&E for your rooms. If a good solution provider, then the product and price will be well-balanced and ‘value for money’. Aim is to not overcrowd with too many features but delivering the most salient features and remain budget friendly for each hotel.
Delivering luxury is a collaborative effort where the complete team comes together. However, just like a great hotel building is beautified with the right carpets, upholstery, drapes and lighting, a well trained team of employees can be enhanced further with the right tools – from the most efficient hotel software to the most satisfying meals and various other facets of the guest experience. At the end of the day it is not about delivering a product but an experience.
